લૂક 23:8

હવે હેરોદ ઈસુને જોઈને ઘણો ખુશ થયો; કેમ કે તેમના સંબંધી તેણે સાંભળ્યું હતું, માટે ઘણાં દિવસથી તે તેમને જોવા ઇચ્છતો હતો; અને તેના દેખતા તે કંઈ ચમત્કારિક ચિહ્ન કરશે એવી આશા તે રાખતો હતો.

¶ And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.
