కోతల కాలం వచ్చినపుడు అతడు ఆ ద్రాక్ష తోటలో తన భాగం కోసం రైతుల దగ్గరికి తన పనివాడు ఒకణ్ణి పంపాడు. ఆ రైతులు వాణ్ణి కొట్టి వట్టి చేతులతో పంపి వేశారు.

And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty.
