Att de döda uppstår har Mose helt klart visat (han har uppenbarat något som är dolt) i berättelsen om törnbusken [2 Mos 3:6]. Här kallar Mose Herren för Abrahams Gud och Isaks Gud och Jakobs Gud [trots att de inte levde här på jorden då Mose sa detta].
