யூதேயாதேசத்தின் ராஜாவாகிய ஏரோதின் நாட்களில், அபியா என்னும் ஆசாரிய வம்சத்தைச் சேர்ந்த சகரியா என்னும் பெயர்கொண்ட ஆசாரியன் ஒருவன் இருந்தான். அவனுடைய மனைவி ஆரோனுடைய சந்ததியில் ஒருத்தி, அவளுடைய பெயர் எலிசபெத்து.
