கர்த்தருடைய தூதன் அவனைப் பார்த்து: சகரியாவே, பயப்படாதே, உன் விண்ணப்பம் கேட்கப்பட்டது; உன் மனைவியாகிய எலிசபெத்து உனக்கு ஒரு குமாரனைப் பெற்றெடுப்பாள், அவனுக்கு யோவான் என்று பெயர் இடுவாயாக.

But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
