ఏ సేవకుడూ ఇద్దరు యజమానులకు సేవ చేయలేడు. అతడు ఒకరిని ద్వేషించి రెండవ యజమానిని ప్రేమిస్తాడు. లేదా ఒకరికి కట్టుబడి ఉండి మరొకర్ని చిన్న చూపు చూస్తాడు. మీరు దేవుణ్ణీ సిరినీ సేవించలేరు.”

¶ No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
