Il s’écria: Père Abraham, aie pitié de moi, et envoie Lazare, pour qu’il trempe le bout de son doigt dans l’eau et me rafraîchisse la langue;car je souffre cruellement dans cette flamme.

And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
