ลู​กา​ 14:10

​แต่​เมื่อท่านได้รับเชิญแล้ว จงไปเอนกายลงในที่ต่ำก่อน เพื่อว่าเมื่อเจ้าภาพที่​ได้​เชิญท่านมาพู​ดก​ั​บท​่านว่า ‘สหายเอ๋ย เชิญเลื่อนไปนั่งที่อั​นม​ี​เกียรติ​’ ​แล​้​วท​่านจะได้​เกียรติ​ต่อหน้าคนทั้งหลายที่เอนกายลงรับประทานด้วยกันนั้น

But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.
