లూకా రాసిన సువార్త 13:6

తరవాత ఆయన వారితో ఈ ఉపమానం చెప్పాడు, “ఒక మనిషి తన ద్రాక్షతోటలో ఒక అంజూరు చెట్టు నాటాడు. అతడు దాని పండ్లు వెదకడానికి వచ్చి చూస్తే అతనికి పండ్లేమీ కనిపించలేదు.

¶ He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
