เมื่อผีโสโครกออกมาจากผู้ใดแล้ว มั​นก​็ท่องเที่ยวไปในที่กันดารเพื่อแสวงหาที่​หยุดพัก​ และเมื่อไม่พบมันจึงกล่าวว่า ‘ข้าจะกลับไปยังเรือนของข้าที่​ได้​ออกมานั้น’

When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.
