ആ നാഴികയിൽ അവൻ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിൽ ആനന്ദിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതു: പിതാവേ, സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിന്നും ഭൂമിക്കും കർത്താവായുള്ളോവേ, നീ ഇവ ജ്ഞാനികൾക്കും വിവേകികൾക്കും മറെച്ചു ശിശുക്കൾക്കു വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വാഴ്ത്തുന്നു. അതേ, പിതാവേ, ഇങ്ങനെ നിനക്കു പ്രസാദം തോന്നിയല്ലോ.

¶ In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
