Leviticus 6:9

Gebied Aäron en zijn zonen het volgende: Dit is de wet op het brandoffer. Het brandoffer zal op de vuurhaard op het altaar de ganse nacht tot de morgen blijven liggen, en het vuur van het altaar zal daarop blijven branden.

Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.
