Leviticus 6:9

Geef aan Aäron en zijn zonen het volgende bevel: Dit is de wet op het brandoffer! Het brandoffer moet heel de nacht door tot aan de morgen op de vuurhaard van het altaar blijven liggen, en het altaarvuur moet daarop blijven branden.

Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.
