Pagkatapos susunugin ng pari ang bahagi ng dinurog na butil at langis at insenso para alalahaning may pagpapasalamat ang tungkol sa kabutihan ni Yahweh. Isang handog ito na ginawa kay Yahweh sa pamamagitan ng apoy.
