Leviticus 26:44

Maar ook zelfs, wanneer zij in het land hunner vijanden zijn, versmaad Ik hen niet en heb Ik geen afkeer van hen, zodat Ik hen zou vernietigen en mijn verbond met hen verbreken: want Ik ben de Here, hun God.

And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.
