ലേവ്യപുസ്തകം 26:41

ഞാനും അവർക്കു വിരോധമായി നടന്നു അവരെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ ദേശത്തു വരുത്തിയതും ഏറ്റുപറകയും അവരുടെ പരിച്ഛേദനയില്ലാത്ത ഹൃദയം അപ്പോൾ താഴുകയും അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യത്തിന്നുള്ള ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ

And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:
