அந்த நாள் உங்களுக்குச் சபைகூடும் பரிசுத்த நாள் என்று கூறவேண்டும்; அதிலே சாதாரணமான யாதொரு வேலையும் செய்யக்கூடாது; இது உங்கள் வீடுகளிலெல்லாம் உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் கைக்கொள்ளவேண்டிய நிரந்தரமான கட்டளை.

And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.
