സംവത്സരം തോറും ഏഴു ദിവസം യഹോവെക്കു ഈ ഉത്സവം ആചരിക്കേണം; ഇതു തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിങ്ങൾക്കു എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം; ഏഴാം മാസത്തിൽ അതു ആചരിക്കേണം.

And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
