તમારે પ્રતિવર્ષ યહોવાહના માનમાં સાત દિવસ આ ઉત્સવ ઊજવવો. તમારા વંશજો માટે એ સદાનો વિધિ થાય. સાતમા માસમાં તમારે આ પર્વ પાળવું.

And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
