พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสกับโมเสสว่า “จงกล่าวแก่บรรดาปุโรหิต คือลูกหลานของอาโรนและสั่งเขาว่า อย่าให้​ผู้​ใดกระทำตัวให้มลทินด้วยเรื่องศพในหมู่​ประชาชน​
