ലേവ്യപുസ്തകം 21:7

വേശ്യയെയോ ദുർന്നടപ്പുകാരത്തിയെയോ അവർ വിവാഹം കഴിക്കരുതു; ഭർത്താവു ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞവളെയും വിവാഹം കഴിക്കരുതു; അവൻ തന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു വിശുദ്ധൻ ആകുന്നു.

They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.
