ఒకడు తన సోదరుని భార్యను పెళ్లాడితే అది అశుద్ధం. ఎందుకంటే వాడు తన సోదరుని వివాహబంధాన్ని మీరాడు. వారు సంతాన హీనులుగా ఉంటారు.

And if a man shall take his brother’s wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother’s nakedness; they shall be childless.
