જો કોઈ પુરુષ પોતાના ભાઈની સ્ત્રી સાથે લગ્ન કરે તો તે અપવિત્ર ગણાય; કેમ કે તેણે એના ભાઈને કલંક લગાડયું છે. એ બન્ને નિઃસંતાન અવસાન પામશે.

And if a man shall take his brother’s wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother’s nakedness; they shall be childless.
