பின்பு அதின் இறக்கைகளுடன் அதை இரண்டாக்காமல் பிளப்பானாக; பின்பு ஆசாரியன் அதைப் பலிபீடத்திலுள்ள நெருப்பில் இருக்கிற கட்டைகளின்மேல் எரிக்கக்கடவன்; இது சர்வாங்க தகனபலி; இது யெகோவாவுக்கு நறுமண வாசனையான தகனபலி.

And he shall cleave it with the wings thereof, but shall not divide it asunder: and the priest shall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon the fire: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
