Om hans offer är ett brännoffer från hjorden, ska han offra ett felfritt djur av hankön. Han ska offra det vid ingången till församlingens mötestält (hebr. óhel móed) till nåd (till behag, villkorad nåd – hebr. ratson) inför Herrens (Jahvehs) ansikte.
