లేవీకాండం 19:22

అప్పుడు యాజకుడు అతడు చేసిన పాపాన్నిబట్టి పాప పరిహార బలిగా ఆ పొట్టేలు మూలంగా యెహోవా సన్నిధిలో అతని కోసం ప్రాయశ్చిత్తం చేయాలి. ఈ విధంగా అతడు చేసిన పాపం విషయమై అతనికి క్షమాపణ కలుగుతుంది.

And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the LORD for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him.
