కాబట్టి ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలైన మీలో ఎవరూ రక్తాన్ని ఆహారంగా తీసుకోకూడదని ఆదేశించాను. మీ మధ్య నివసించే ఏ విదేశీయుడూ రక్తాన్ని ఆహారంగా తీసుకోకూడదని ఆదేశించాను.

Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.
