லேவியராகமம் 17:15

தானாக இறந்துபோனதையாவது, பீறுண்டதையாவது சாப்பிட்டவன் எவனும் அவன் இஸ்ரவேலனானாலும் அந்நியனானாலும், தன் உடைகளைத் துவைத்து, தண்ணீரில் குளித்து, மாலைவரைத் தீட்டாயிருப்பானாக; பின்பு சுத்தமாக இருப்பான்.

And every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or that which was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean.
