லேவியராகமம் 17:10

“இஸ்ரவேல் குடும்பத்தாரிலும் உங்களுக்குள் தங்கும் அந்நியர்களிலும் எவனாகிலும் எந்தவொரு இரத்தத்தைச் சாப்பிட்டால், இரத்தத்தைச் சாப்பிட்ட அவனுக்கு விரோதமாக நான் என் முகத்தைத் திருப்பி, அவன் தன் மக்களுக்குள் இல்லாதபடி அவனை அறுப்புண்டுபோகச் செய்வேன்.

¶ And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
