Han ska gå ut till altaret som är framför Herren (Jahveh) och bringa försoning för det, och han ska ta av tjurens blod och av bockens blod och placera det ovanpå altarets horn runtom. [2 Mos 27:2. Altaret har fyra horn, ett i varje hörn. Hornen på altaret representerar makt.]

And he shall go out unto the altar that is before the LORD, and make an atonement for it; and shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about.
