இப்பொழுதோ அவர்களுடைய முகம் கரியைக்காட்டிலும் கறுத்துப்போனது; வீதிகளில் அவர்களை அடையாளம் காணமுடியாது; அவர்களுடைய தோல் அவர்கள் எலும்புகளோடு ஒட்டிக்கொண்டு, காய்ந்த மரத்திற்கு ஒப்பானது.

Their visage is blacker than a coal; they are not known in the streets: their skin cleaveth to their bones; it is withered, it is become like a stick.
