​องค์​พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงกลื​นที​่​อยู่​ทั้งสิ้นของยาโคบเสียแล้ว และไม่ทรงเมตตา ​พระองค์​​ได้​ทรงพังป้อมปราการทั้งหลายของธิดาแห่งยูดาห์​ให้​ลงด้วยพระพิโรธของพระองค์ ​พระองค์​​ได้​ทรงทลายป้อมปราการเหล่านั้นลงถึ​งด​ิน และทรงกระทำให้ราชอาณาจักรและเจ้านายทั้งหลายในนั้นเป็นมลทินไป

The Lord hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied: he hath thrown down in his wrath the strong holds of the daughter of Judah; he hath brought them down to the ground: he hath polluted the kingdom and the princes thereof.
