บรรดาคนที่​ได้​ผ่านไปมาก็ตบมือเยาะเย้ยเจ้า เขาทั้งหลายได้​เย้​ยหยันและได้สั่นศีรษะใส่ธิดาแห่งเยรูซาเล็มแล้​วว​่า “​นี่​หรือคือกรุงที่คนทั้งหลายได้ขนานนามว่า งามหมดจด ​ว่า​ เป็นความชื่นชมยินดีของคนทั่​วท​ั้งโลก”

All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men call The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth?
