எருசலேம் பட்டணத்து வாசல்கள் தரையில் புதைந்துகிடக்கிறது; அவளுடைய தாழ்ப்பாள்களை உடைத்துப்போட்டார்; அவளுடைய ராஜாவும் அவளுடைய பிரபுக்களும் அந்நியமக்களுக்குள் இருக்கிறார்கள்; வேதமுமில்லை; அவளுடைய தீர்க்கதரிசிகளுக்குக் யெகோவாவால் தரிசனம் கிடைப்பதில்லை.

Her gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the LORD.
