Samech. Allen, die over weg gaan, klappen met de handen over u, zij fluiten en schudden hun hoofd over de dochter Jeruzalems, zeggende: Is dit die stad, waar men van zeide, dat zij volkomen van schoonheid was, een vreugde der ganse aarde?

All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men call The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth?
