കടന്നുപോകുന്ന ഏവരും നിന്നെ നോക്കി കൈ കൊട്ടുന്നു; അവർ യെരൂശലേംപുത്രിയെച്ചൊല്ലി ചൂളകുത്തി തലകുലുക്കി: സൗന്ദര്യപൂർത്തി എന്നും സർവ്വമഹീതലമോദം എന്നും വിളിച്ചുവന്ന നഗരം ഇതു തന്നേയോ എന്നു ചോദിക്കുന്നു.

All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men call The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth?
