വിലാപങ്ങൾ 2:1

അയ്യോ! യഹോവ സീയോൻ പുത്രിയെ തന്റെ കോപത്തിൽ മേഘംകൊണ്ടു മറെച്ചതെങ്ങനെ? അവൻ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ മഹത്വം ആകാശത്തുനിന്നു ഭൂമിയിൽ ഇട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു; തന്റെ കോപദിവസത്തിൽ അവൻ തന്റെ പാദപീഠത്തെ ഓർത്തതുമില്ല.

How hath the Lord covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger!
