યર્મિયાનો વિલાપ 1:18

યહોવાહ ન્યાયી છે, મેં તેમની વિરુદ્ધ બંડ કર્યું છે. હે સર્વ લોકો, કૃપા કરીને સાંભળો અને મારા દુઃખને જુઓ. મારી કુંવારીઓ તથા મારા જુવાનો બંદીવાસમાં ગયા છે.

¶ The LORD is righteous; for I have rebelled against his commandment: hear, I pray you, all people, and behold my sorrow: my virgins and my young men are gone into captivity.
