सिय्योन के मार्ग विलाप कर रहे हैं, क्योंकि नियत पर्वों में कोई नहीं आता है; उसके सब फाटक सुनसान पड़े हैं, उसके याजक कराहते हैं; उसकी कुमारियाँ शोकित हैं, और वह आप कठिन दुःख भोग रही है।

The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness.
