దానికి ఆ సమాజ ప్రధానులంతా ప్రజలతో ఇలా అన్నారు. “మనం ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా తోడు అని వారితో ప్రమాణం చేశాం కాబట్టి మనం వారికి హాని చేయకూడదు.
