Josua 8:22

Och de andra kom fram, ut ur staden mot dem, så att de var mittemellan Israel, en del på ena sidan och en del på andra sidan. Och de slog dem så att de inte lät någon av dem bli kvar eller fly.

And the other issued out of the city against them; so they were in the midst of Israel, some on this side, and some on that side: and they smote them, so that they let none of them remain or escape.
