Josua 8:21

Denn da Josua und das ganze Israel sah, daß der Hinterhalt die Stadt gewonnen hatte, weil der Stadt Rauch aufging, kehrten sie wieder um und schlugen die Männer von Ai.

And when Joshua and all Israel saw that the ambush had taken the city, and that the smoke of the city ascended, then they turned again, and slew the men of Ai.
