Giô-suê nói: Oâi! Chúa Giê-hô-va, sao Ngài đem dân này qua sông Giô-đanh đặng phó chúng tôi vào tay dân A-mô-rít mà làm cho diệt đi? Oâi! chớ chi chúng tôi chọn phần ở lại bên kia sông Giô-đanh!
