โยชูวา 7:7

โยชูวากราบทูลว่า “​โอ​ ข้าแต่​องค์​พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้า อนิจจาเอ๋ย เป็นไฉนพระองค์จึงทรงนำชนชาติ​นี้​ข้ามแม่น้ำจอร์แดนมา เพื่อจะมอบเราทั้งหลายไว้ในมือของคนอาโมไรต์​ให้​ทำลายเสีย พวกข้าพระองค์​มี​ความเสียดายที่​ไม่​พอใจอยู่เพียงฟากแม่น้ำจอร์แดนข้างโน้น

And Joshua said, Alas, O Lord GOD, wherefore hast thou at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? would to God we had been content, and dwelt on the other side Jordan!
