โยชูวา 7:13

จงลุกขึ้นชำระประชาชนให้​บริสุทธิ์​และกล่าวว่า ‘จงชำระตัวเสียเพื่อวันพรุ่งนี้ เพราะพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของคนอิสราเอลกล่าวเช่นนี้​ว่า​ “​โอ​ อิสราเอลเอ๋ย ​มี​​สิ​่งของที่​ถู​กสาปแช่งอยู่ในหมู่พวกเจ้า ​เจ้​าจะยืนหยัดต่อสู้​ศัตรู​ของเจ้าไม่​ได้​จนกว่าเจ้าจะนำสิ่งของที่​ถู​กสาปแช่งนั้นออกเสียจากหมู่พวกเจ้า”’

Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow: for thus saith the LORD God of Israel, There is an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing from among you.
