யோசுவா 7:13

எழுந்திரு, நீ மக்களைப் பரிசுத்தம்செய்யச் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: நாளையதினத்திற்கு உங்களைப் பரிசுத்தம் செய்துகொள்ளுங்கள்; இஸ்ரவேலர்களே, சபிக்கப்பட்டவைகள் உங்கள் நடுவே இருக்கிறது; நீங்கள் சபிக்கப்பட்டவைகளை உங்கள் நடுவிலிருந்து அகற்றாமலிருக்கும்வரை, நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய எதிரிகளுக்கு முன்பாக நிற்கமுடியாது என்று இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார்.

Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow: for thus saith the LORD God of Israel, There is an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing from among you.
