யோசுவா 7:1

இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் சபிக்கப்பட்டவைகளினாலே துரோகம் செய்தார்கள்; எப்படியென்றால், யூதாகோத்திரத்தின் சேராகுடைய மகனாகிய சப்தியின் மகன் கர்மீக்குப் பிறந்த ஆகான் என்பவன், சபிக்கப்பட்டவைகளிலே சிலவற்றை எடுத்துக்கொண்டான்; ஆகையால் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களின்மீது யெகோவாவுடைய கோபம் மூண்டது.
