യോശുവ 7:3

യോശുവയുടെ അടുക്കൽ മടങ്ങിവന്നു അവനോടു: ജനം എല്ലാം പോകേണമെന്നില്ല; ഹായിയെ ജയിച്ചടക്കുവാൻ രണ്ടായിരമോ മൂവായിരമോ പോയാൽ മതി; സർവ്വജനത്തെയും അവിടേക്കു അയച്ചു കഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്തേണ്ടാ; അവർ ആൾ ചുരുക്കമത്രേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And they returned to Joshua, and said unto him, Let not all the people go up; but let about two or three thousand men go up and smite Ai; and make not all the people to labour thither; for they are but few.
