Toen sloegen zij alles wat in de stad was, met de ban, zowel man als vrouw, zowel jong als oud, tot runderen, schapen en ezels toe, met de scherpte des zwaards.

And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword.
