સાતમે દિવસે જયારે યાજકો જોરથી રણશિંગડા વગાડતા હતા ત્યારે યહોશુઆએ લોકોને આજ્ઞા કરી કે, “મોટેથી વગાડો. કેમ કે યહોવાહે આ નગર તમને આપ્યું છે.
